One of the biggest challenges of life for many people is reaching and maintaining a healthy weight.

And it can be even harder when you have negative people trying to “motivate” you with rude comments about your weight.

Ever have someone call you a “fatty” and then say, “Oh, it was just a joke. I didn’t mean any harm by it”?

Well if you have then you know that, joke or not, it still hurts. And it doesn’t motivate you at all. It just makes you feel discouraged and frustrated that you can’t lose the weight.

Especially if you have tried every diet and every weight loss “miracle pill” in the book and nothing has worked.

And if you know anything about the Law of Attraction, you know that to make it work for your weight loss you have to think positive…

Which means blocking out those negative comments attacking you from all sides.

So here are some tips for blocking out negative comments about your weight:

I know when people make comments like that you just want to slap them, but there are better ways of handling this kind of situation.

A great response is: “Thank you for your opinion.” Just say it–don’t be angry, or sarcastic, or show any emotion at all.

Just make the statement.

It just stops the conversation short, because they have nothing left to say, and then you can change the subject.

Only people who are insecure themselves feel the need to make negative comments.

They need to make themselves feel better, and so they put you down instead.

Someone who’s happy with themselves would be supportive of you, not insult you.

So the trick is to just not let it bother you.

And when people make negative comments and judgments it just emphasizes their own insecurities.

Once you deal with the issue yourself, and once you’re in a confident mindset, you’ll find that these comments won’t bother you.

Just stay focused on your goal and ignore what other people say.

Their nasty comments don’t say anything bad about you–but they speak volumes about the person saying them.

It may even help you to avoid associating with these negative people. Sometimes that’s easier said than done, but if you have a particularly negative friend, you might want to reconsider your relationship with them.

Once you have tuned out the naysayers from your life, you can start working towards your weight loss goals.

No matter how many fad diets and pills promise to help you lose weight, the truth of the matter is this:

Dropping those pounds takes work. It takes a combination of eating right and exercise, and taking care of your body.

It also doesn’t happen overnight. The hardest part for most people is sticking to their weight-loss program.

That’s where the Hypnotic Secret and the LOA come in.

But don’t try to use the Law of Attraction or “think yourself thin” without making an action plan.

So take a pen and paper right now and jot down your weight loss goals, and how you’re going to achieve them.

Decide on a goal weight. Write that number at the top of the page.

Now make a list of healthy foods you enjoy, and another list of the unhealthy foods that you will cut back on.

Your healthy food list should include lots of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein or dairy.

If you’re not ready to cut out your unhealthy foods cold-turkey, try to limit yourself to eating them once a week or so.

Next thing is your exercise of choice. You might already know that I’m a yoga nut, so I highly recommend yoga as a great way to exercise, relax, and build endurance and flexibility. Hey, it helped me lose 60 pounds!

But the key is to find something that you enjoy and that works for you. With so many options out there, you don’t really have an excuse.

Write down your top 3 exercise options.

Now, sign your name at the bottom of the page. Choose someone you trust, your partner or a close friend, and have them read it too. This way, you have a support system who will keep you on track when you find it hard to motivate yourself.

Once you get going with your plan, use the Law of Attraction to attract success and a healthier body.

Picture yourself at your goal weight. Go window shopping for clothes in smaller sizes.

Breathe deeply and think to yourself, “I am losing weight and making my body healthier.”

And please don’t listen to those negative people who want you to fail.

I know you can do it.

So go out there, believe in yourself, and make it happen!

    4. I am an emotional eater. I have struggled my entire life and even when I walk the walk and talk the talk I get tired and then rest but it seems to be a cycle of this and after awhile drains a person ambitions. I have worked in the helping field for most of my life. The depression and anxiety seem to eventually take over my life. I am afraid to go to a psychiatrist in fear of them doping me up or that they open things up and I lose my job. I don’t have anyone to turn to helping me if I get into a financial bind. I have assets but don’t want to loose them in the process of moving forward. I paid for a down load bbut can’t find it on my computor.
